"If you could go anywhere, where would it be?" My friend Lana turned to me, surprised by the question, "What?" We were sitting on the  balcony of her 18th floor apartment looking out over the city, watching the lights shine bright in the cool crisp night, "I said if you could anywhere , where would you go? I mean like sprout wings and fly there." I said looking over to her. She stopped looking at me and turned back to the city, "I don't know... I've never really thought of it." She said. The wind up here was strong so her hair blew all around her, making her expression hard to read. I stood up and leaned on the railing, "I'd go somewhere far away. Away from all this...." I swept my arm across the city. She looked towards to lights. There were a few moments of silence till she said something, "I guess I'd go wherever you went.." she said softly. I looked to her, she was sitting there still not looking at me. The wind started to pick up so I sat down next to her, "I'm glad." I said. It was the truth, the only two friends I had were her and Eliza... and Eliza's gone now. So it was just Lana and me, "I miss her too.." Lana said looking at me. I smiled, she always had a way of knowing what I was thinking. With out thought I scooted closer and hugged her and put my head on her shoulder, "I know.." I whispered in her ear.
