As I walk this spiritual journey
As I seek to grow nearer to God
I finding things in my life that need to be addressed

Forgotten anger and resentment
Unforgiveness
Distrust
And self doubt

For me looking into my heart was a scary thing
Cause I see the hidden secrets
The side of me I forgot existed
The side of me I wish wasn't me

Thank God for his mercy
Without his mercy and grace I would be lost forever

It like this journey is putting my self under a microscope and seeing what is truly there

God help me
This journey is hard
I can't walk it alone
I need you Jesus
