I hear a sound of something mytsic
I know all too well,
And don't take my words as complaining,
I take comfort in being able to tell...

To tell that coexistence
Is in the air like pollen in the spring,
And nothing makes me happier
Than being able to dance and sing,
To just be able to live naturally & free.

The world doesn't always agree
With all that I choose to say
But the only way to make it out alive
Is if you march to the beat of your own drum;
Eventually your fate too, will find its rhythmic thrum.

My heart's been torn to rags,
Shreds, pieces, and mismatched cardiac muscle,
But I can boldly say all they took away,
Was the promise of true love, and a tattered piece of kyrptonic brain.
That's why they left anyway,
Took the best they could get from me,
Because I was too powerful to stay.
