As I read and see report after report detailing the incomprehensible disclosure of classified information by Donald Trump, I am appalled by the silence from the GOP as a whole.  These are the same people who screamed “lock her up” about Hillary because of her showing poor judgement in utilizing a private email server the handle classified emails, none of which were shown to have been compromised or leaked in any way. But now that it is a Republican who is showing way worse than just poor judgment, all I hear from them is the sounds of crickets. Trump has willfully and knowingly disclosed highly classified information to the Russians. This goes way beyond poor judgment and carelessness.  

Last year, Paul Ryan said that people who are “extremely careless” with classified information should be denied further access to such info.  I am not sure what his definition of “extremely careless” is, but I know that what our President did does goes far beyond carelessness and is approaching treason. Still nothing though from Speaker Ryan about this. Mitch McConnell is no better. He is dismissing it as little more than “drama”. This is no drama I want to be a part of. This administration is an embarrassment and our President is a buffoon who appears to be actively pushing our closest allies away while cozying up to autocrats, fascists, and dictators. 

But the emails….
