Blue chased off the humans who had shot Crimson with a dart and he was waiting by her side waiting for her to wake up when he noticed that there was a huge rip in her wings it was in that moment when the sun broke through the trees into the clearing and hit Crimson's scales that he saw what she truly was and why the humans wanted her, her scales were rainbow in the light of the sun. When she woke up a few hours later he said nothing about what he had seen and he tended to her wings healing them with a touch. When he left the clearing he walked through a patch of sunlight and his scales shimerd rainbow for a moment then he was out of the light but Crimson new what she had seen but like blue she said nothing and let him go. 
When Blue came back the next day with some food Crimson asked why he was being so nice to her and  why he didn't just kill her right there and then. Blue said nothing and simply gave her the fruit that he had brought with him. Crimson had many questions but she waited untill she had satisfied her hunger before asking her questions and the answers that Blue gave her confused her but the she slipped up when she asked about a kind of scale color that only others with rainbow scales would now about.  Crimson" why do only a few dragons have rainbow scales?" She asked quite directly so Blue had to answer because he knew that she knew that he had rainbow scales and that he did as well.
