"Maya, your mom took Mrs. Seabryn away!" said Jayden.
"Where did she leave at? The main exit is that way but... nobody went through. ..." I thought about the ways they may be lying. Jack looked at me weirdly.
"Hey, who is that behind her?" yelled Jack. He was not looking at me at all, he was looking at Mumbler.
"I'm Daniel." he mumbled. Now I know why he calls himself Mumbler.
"Don't talk bad, Jack. Where is my mother? Caylus, I trust you. Where is she?" I kind of stood there waiting for the answer, but it never came.
"Your mom is gone. She never went out the main exit. We don't know where they might have gone. I guess they disappeared. ..." answered Caylus with a slight fear of talking. He was shy, and he didn't like to talk in front of people.
"Is that her?" Daniel whispered to me.
"Yes. She is watching for me. She is looking for me. Never knew she cared that much. I guess we have to go tell her I'm here. Be right back." I said. Jayden snickered.
"No, don't say anything. This is the first and only time this year we will be alone in a classroom for a day! Keep your mouth shut, Special," Jayden warned. I took a deep breath so I wouldn't say anything stupid on my part.
"Leave her alone," Daniel stuttered quietly and scared.
"Shutup. You know nothing. Go away. No one wants you here, kid. Mumbler." said Jayden sternly. I looked him in the eye vividly. I told him to back off with my eyes. He stood where he was standing.
"What is going on in here? Sit down, Maya. Oh, why hello, Daniel!" said Mrs. Seabryn quite rudely.
"Jayden is"- she cut me off and pointed the direction of my seat. I sat and looked back at Jayden. He made a dumb face. I rolled my eyes at him.
