"So you do talk? So, Special, what is this? You only talk about me now? I am gonna talk to ya too?" he asked silently, but a vivid picture was placed in my mind.
"You know nothing of me. Don't try to know me, either. Leave me alone, Jayden!" I yelled across the room. He stepped forward. Mrs. Seabryn stepped with him. Toward him.
"No," she said. Just simplicity in the word excited me. I showed fear and happiness at the same time.
"Leave me be. I want to be alone," I stood up. I walked closer to the door that led to the hallway. "I do not want to be here," I sighed a heavy sigh, and then I ran. I ran out the office into the street of the suburbs we live in.
"A girl, Mom. One of those suburb children are here. She must not have the education, Mom. Let's fetch her," said an unknown boy.
"I know exactly my purpse, kid. I have an education, too. And do not dare think of me as a suburb kid. I am just a kid," I looked at him more closely. "City boy."
"Why do you get to think of me in such a way?" he asked, trying to be funny. I did not find it funny, though.
"I was thinking out loud. Keeping it inside isn't pure," I replied bravely.
"And what do you think of which where you are going? You escape or something?" he asked in a humble tone.
"I guess you can say that. I will find a way that takes me home, okay. I just need to find home," I squinted as he looked at me weirdly.
"You'd think, people in the suburbs know where they live," he said, trying to be funny again. I thought it was a good joke this time around.
"Okay, well, I know where I live, City Boy. I want to find my place here. So, why you here?"
