Hey guys and girls, this story is about how I met and lost my best friend. I was an orphan for at least 2 years of my life, I constantly moved to a different orphanage along with a few other people I new one of them was my best friend Chris, we did everything together even moved together. Then one day a family came looking for two 10 year old boys, happily we where chosen to become apart of a family for the first time, it was weird at first for the both of us, but after a week we grew to love are family and friends. We lived with them for 5 years after that day me and my best friend were both 15 years old and are birthdays where around the corner, but then me and my friend became very sick and we're bed ridden in the hospital, both are conditions slowly got better, then I was checked out of the hospital and driven home waiting for my friend to come home, then I received a call saying that my friend only had a few minutes to...LIVE, I dropped my phone grab keys for one of the cars even though I didn't know how to drive I drove all the way to the hospital to come to a soul at peace, I drop and yell no and come back over and over with tears in my eyes. then a few days later we had a funeral for my lost friend, when the casket was opened I said "sleep well and see you another day" while holding back tears then they started to lower the body into the grave, before they finished I dropped his favorite candy bar in his grave to say goodbye for the last time. Then a few days later it was are birthdays my only wish was to see his grave and remember what we did all those years, and at that moment we were both 16 years old. The pain was hard to take but at least I know he is at peace.
