My idea of you was a fantasy.
Standards no one could live up to.
Your charming face.
Your kind heart.
It was a ruse.
I keep reminding myself
You are human.
You have flaws.
You have secrets.
My visions of you vanished.
In a single moment,
Your truth was revealed.
You are broken.
Your pieces rage.
Now everyone sees you
For what you are.
You life as you know it
Is done.
My heart still weeps
For the person I though you were.
You cannot turn back the clock.
This will forever stain you.
