Well, I suggest you read between the lines, or in this case, between the smile.

You see its a little like this.

We mistake these actions as that of a lover. But such actions are only acts of formality.

One who knows your every move?
He's only super observant, so when he's caught in an inappropriate position, he is already aware of your reaction, in other words, he can charm his way back into your life.

One who hangs onto your every word?
He's only listening to your opinions, so that when necessary he's got something to use against you.

A sort of blackmail.

And the final bomb.
The one who knows our strengths and weaknesses.
You've practically played into his manipulative hands, he has the ability to use this knowledge in tormenting you. Taunting you in such a way, that you begin to find faults within yourself. Suddenly the spark filled, fiery character of yours has dissipated.

You have succumbed to his will.
