"Your caramel eyes are beautiful, Miss." I hold her tightly. She smiles at me speechless. "Oh, thank you." I smile at her. And that's when Stewart's horn interrupted us. I look at Stewart as he's waiting in front of the limousine. I look back at the girl who was no longer in my arms. She's in front of me with the hood covering her eyes again. She starts to walk away. No not this time! I run up to her and shout "Wait! Miss, what is your name?!" She slowly turns around and says something to me. "My name is..." My alarm went off at the wrong time. I was just dreaming. I can't believe I dreamed about her. My phone starts to vibrate. It's time to get back to work. "Mister Romero, your meeting is set." I smile at the secretary and walked towards my office. On the 54th floor is where I'm located. Looking out at the enormous windows placed in my room. I sit down at my desk and sign a few paperworks for March Holdings. Apparently, I have a scheduled meeting with the president of that company. As I slid the paper in the envelope, my computer notifies a new message. The message had read "The intern, Carmen Hemena has arrived." I had almost forgotten about the undergraduate students visiting the corporation. There was one transfer student that came late. I respond "Please send Miss Hemena to my office. From there she will get a tour of the building." I lay back in my in my chair. This is going to be a long day. A few minutes later... Knock~knock .. That must be the intern working for me. It felt like an hour after that message. I got up from the chair and walked towards the door. For some reason I took a deep breath. Hopefully I didn't gain any wrinkles on my face. I opened the door and when I did an angel had appeared before me... "Um, I'm Carmen Hemena. The intern that's working here." She stares at me as if she knew me. This girl is the same girl who I bumped into on the way to my interview. She had the same caramel eyes and even the same coat she wore from last night. Quickly, I snapped out of my gaze. "My name is Romeo Romero. It is a pleasure to meet you..., Carmen."l usher her inside and close the door behind us. She examines the big room before her. I wonder if she actually recognizes me. "So, Carmen you're a freshman at Columbia University?" She turns to me and nods. I walk towards my desk and pull out a chair for her. "Take a seat." I sit down in my chair and she takes a seat across from me. All I wanted to say was what I shouldn't. "Tell me about yourself. I'm very interested to know." I notice her cheeks get red. "Well, I'm originally from Arkansas. And I got a scholarship to a college there during the first few months. Then I moved to New York and got transferred to Columbia because of my entrance exam scores. It's a reason why I'm not with everyone else." She chuckles. My question is why she was there last night. It seemed as if she was in a rush. "Why did you move here?" Carmen looks down. Maybe that wasn't the right question. "Personal reasons. Anyway I hope to work here and in order to do that I would like to learn how." I grin. I would be delighted to do so. After the day had been finished I went to check on Carmen. I have not yet kept her off my mind. As I looked in the balcony, I saw her sitting on one of the sofas..alone. For some reason I felt myself walking towards Carmen and in that moment I was now in front of her. "Mister Romero!" She looks at me and smiles tenderly. "It's getting late. Don't you have a ride?" She looks down at her purse. "Actually, I couldn't get a hold of a taxi outside, so I sat in here and tried to find an available uber on my phone. New York is as busy as the natives say." She faintly giggles. "There's no need for that. I'll give you a ride. My chauffeur Stewart will be here any second." She smiles. "Oh, thank you. I really do appreciate that." I sit down next to her. All I want to do is embrace her. "Where do you live?" She sighs. "In an apartment complex near the university. It's just a few blocks away." Before I attempted to say anything else my phone vibrated. Stewart was waiting outside. " That was quick. Looks like Stewart has arrived." We both get up and walk outside. Actually I wanted to ask her if she wanted to hang out with me before she goes home. "Say, Carmen, would you like to get a drink?" It's probably a school night and she might still be underage. Maybe I shouldn't have asked that question either. "It's okay if you don't want to. I would understand since you might still be seventeen." Stewart opens the door for her and she gets in. After Stewart closes the door, he does the same for me on the other side of the limousine. Once I get in, Carmen looks around and feels the leather on the seats. She seems amazed... "Actually, I'm nineteen and I would like to have ...a few drinks with you." I smile. "Is it really okay with you?" "Yeah, I mean it's a Friday. So what places do you have in mind?" I grin. I turn to the partition. "Stewart, please take us to my penthouse." "Yes, Sir." I look back at Carmen as her cheeks are red as a tomato. Two hours later... We both were already in my room. On my bed. Drinking not too many, but a few drinks of champagne. Though I have to be careful just like I was with my previous lovers.... Making sure Carmen was sane enough for her consent. It was time to make my move.... To be continued....
