I sat on the counter staring out of my kitchen window which showed thick white layers of snow. I was home alone once more. I never had family around me, they were working or something. I went through the arch that once had streamers on it but was now spaced out with roses. I turned on the television a gave the channels a flick through, yet nothing was to watch so I went upstairs to busy myself.i found nothing to do so I decided to run to the local shop and get some hair dye. I called my best friend Olivia to dye it for me. She came straight over and realised Cassidy wasn't here. "Where's Cassidy, Cassi?" I sighed and told her she was shopping. "Could you please dye my hair for me?" She was shocked at my question but she did it anyway. I looked in the mirror to see one of the biggest changes I'd ever had. My hair was medium length and scarlet coloured. I loved it. It was way better than o had expected it to be. I then looked down at my stomach feeling sick. It couldn't be last night's prom could it? I had it with Brody and we were just too light headed last night. We ended up in the wrong placed in the wrong positions. I suddenly felt really sick and had an urge to throw up. It didn't just go in the toilet but in the bath too. Luckily Olivia was there to hold my hair back. I mumbled the words 'Call Cassidy' to her and she whipped out her phone and dialled the number. I heard the door open and footsteps dashing upstairs to the bathroom. I told Olivia to get me a pregnancy test whole Cassidy stayed with me. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw positivity run through the test. My words were missing and nothing could replace them yet I was ecstatic that I was going to be a mother. Brody I wasn't so sure about. I decided to put on some leggings and a top then tie my hair into a quick bun and set off to tell Brody the news. I finally arrived at his house after a ten minute walk. I rushed to his front door with the test in hand. It was opened by a familiar woman I knew as Brody's mom. "May I help you dear?" Alice asked. I nodded and asked for Brody. Then I sighed and told her the news too. She looked amazed by the words that just came from my mouth but then called to Brody it was urgent. "Hey Brody... I need to speak to you." His tossled light brown hair made me weak in the knees but I managed. The dreamy blue eyes you can fall into. "I just want to say that..." I said seeing his mother from behind. He started to rush me. "Yes Cassi?!" He asked impatiently. I just spat the words 'I'm pregnant' straight from my mouth. He looked as though he didn't care. "And? What do i have to do with it?" He replied rudely. "IT'S YOUR BABY!" I shouted at him and he then looked at me in dismay. "I have a girlfriend." I looked up at him desperately. His mother stepped behind him. "Well it's your fault she's pregnant so you can break up with your girlfriend! Then you get with poor Cassi, got me?" Brody nodded after hearing his mother's strict tone of voice. I went home and a month later Brody was single, yet he didn't ask me to be his girlfriend. I waited another month with nothing. His mother told me to give him some time so that's what i did. By the time I was starting to show he was with another girl but it wasn't me. I went to his mother once more and she replied with the words 'I'll talk to him.' So I nodded and left. By eight months pregnant I still wasn't with him and so I asked him myself. He broke up with his girlfriend and finally got with me. He was more romantic than ever. "Promise me a week after the baby is born we can reset the pleasure." Brody said to me in a husky tone. I promised him not knowing what I was getting myself into. I scented myself with a tiny of rose the day of the birth. I had been taken to hospital later that day in labour. I screamed and cried and bled sweat for over six hours waiting for my baby girl to pop out.
