 I see my face in yours my dear
your cheeks, your eyes, your nose
a picture of pure innocence
with so much potential
and though we may have different hearts
to me it seems we are one
you'll always be a piece of me
forever daddy's number one
My little girl you are so strong
that I can see now
but as your dad I tell you
I will be there when you're down
and though you will be stubborn
saying you don't need my help
I know you will be grateful
when I'm there through all life's hell
Already I have fallen
and gotten wrapped up in your grip
but thats my job as daddy
a title I will never allow to slip
I will be in your life forever
even when I'm physically not
So my child I truely hope
that you are ready for this life
Keep your head up, make daddy proud
and push through all your woes
and live your life as I know you will
always and forever you will be
my child, my daughter, myself
