Twas the night before the wedding and all through the room,
not a sound could be heard from the fear stricken groom.
his love would be there to walk down the aisle,
wearing her elegant dress and her signature smile.

The groomsmen would be there right by his side,
his best man and best friend along for the ride.
as he looked up to see her staring back at them,
her dad holding her arm as she smiled at him.

When up from above the church bells did ring,
and the choir arose and they started to sing.
the bride took step after step down the lane,
as the moment she waited for finally came.

The moment was right and their eyes slowly met,
he mouthed i love you as he started to sweat.
the nerves started rising as the priest begun,
soon they'd be no longer two but together as one.

When asked towards the end for better or worse,
"I do" were the words that he said in his verse.
He smiled at her as she said it back,
"you may now kiss the bride" as cheers arose from the back.

They got in the limo on the way to the reception,
together and one with no exception.
They arrived with the feelings of glee still about,
This was the happiest day of their lives this there was no doubt.
