My wife and I, we use to do almost everything together. When we were dating, we use to meet up at the park and than take things from there. I didn't mind coming out everyday to see her. I really like her at the time. When we are not together, I'll spend most of my time taking to her on the phone.

  We would talk for hours and hours. I made it a habit to call her everyday we are not together. I didn't want any other guys to talk to her. I was afraid of losing her. My parents would always yell at me for being on the phone too long, so I had go to the local corner store and use the pay phone. 

  The owner of the corner store and I became good friends, because I would go there everyday and use the pay phone for long hours. I remember he always tell me, that girl is going to be your wife one day. I didn't understand at the time what he meant. 

  One day me and her stayed out later than usual. She was so afraid to go home, she didn't want to get in trouble. It was her first time staying out this late. For me I usually do. So it wasn't a big deal for me. Now she is scared, didn't want to go home. I could see that she was stressed. I had to do something. So I ask her to marry me. It was the first thought that came to my mind.

  Fast forward 17 years, time may have been rough on us and sometime it may seem like I had enough, just know I will always be by your side. I may not show how much I love you, just know that I got you.
