We are the…ORIGINAL INDIVIDUAL…
Any “race” that exists now…until the last one left…
Does so, because the African drew the first breath…
MAGNIFICENT…
YES!!!

And, historically true….
My black is beautiful…
And yours is too..

People tell me that I’m not really black…
Seems I’m not dark enough…
Growing up, those comments made my life a Lil bit tough…

See, not exactly sure where I fit in…
When my own people see me as different…
because I have lighter skin…

While on the other hand, many black women's minds have been deceived…
Thinking they can swim better in the ” bleach their skin” sea…
I would NEVER consider that, and hell…
it would be easier for me!

My sisters…
Whatever your shade…you receive an “A” for a grade…

Why would you want to deface that beautiful hue??
Destroy the Queen that IS you…
My black is beautiful,
Yours is too.

Now, I want to extend my hand…
To the most bruised and doubted specimen…
The PHENOMENAL black man…
I believe in you…where others feel you are lost…
Dominant and capable oh yes, you are…
Yet, still expected to pay a cost.

Always torn down… RARELY uplifted…
And between the sheets, no earthly beast —has ever been more GIFTED…

YOU’RE THE ULTIMATE LOVER… CHOCOLATE SUPERMAN UNDERCOVER...
So, STOP calling each other nigga’ and return it to brotha’.

The UNITY OF BLACK, has been, can be…
Such a powerful glue…
IF, you believe your black is beautiful…
Because mine is too.
