Back when negroes were enslaved by whites No one was free from this cruelty they had all thought had been right Everyday and everynight a slave would work on a plantation or cotton farm Bruises from the cotton remained on their legs, hands, and arms The South had thought this was a new standard of living they would use Having the slaves doing their labor and beating them until they could no longer refuse But soon the North have come to a realization of the slaves being forced to work They went on allowing the law for owning slaves to be illegal for its worth Still slaves in the South had not been freed from their owners whom disliked the idea So a war shall come to tally to see whether slaves should be slaves in America Now the war had freed slaves from the South These people from Africa were free to wander true life about
