Sorrowful Sinner Read Count : 173

Category : Poems

Tis the sorrowful sinner whose penance is paid for with a price.
Hung above their heads, which be their very life.
Woeful tears shed as sinner’s soul doth plea,
What penance be enough for thou to forgive me?

Heart heavy with worldly grime,
Thus this be a sign of these times.
Where victim, becomes villain,
Villain becoming victim.

Dreadful fears fester within growing in strife.
Till one day whispers of seething hatred,
Fuel this lasting sin amongst men.
Where dire forsaken soul takes their very life.

Forgotten, forsaken left to rot,
That be our tale of what and what not.
Sins fester unforgiven while villain plays victim.
Leaving silenced victims forlorn…
