People, lift your hearts to him
For he's our beloved savior
Thy season of passion begins,
A new life will be beholded.

Thy World, let us do sacrifice 
Thus, we shall join him in heaven.
everlasting life is grateful
And acceptable to the lord.

Into the heart of lent, we look
To the sacrifice of Lord Christ.
Thy humanity will be saved
