Fractured memores

One would think that these things, these dreams that haunt my sleep.
Would leave, they linger even when I wake. These terrible things I call dreams.
Vivid as if lifelike painted upon minds sleeping gaze. Each detail not forgotten, of these things one hates to dream. Where once dreams held promise, now they’ve become why I
Forge ahead as if in a waking sleep.

For my heart fears what dreams my sleep may keep. Be they memories, or festered fears of long ago coming to boil? Visions of past memories play before tired eyes as they drift. Held captive in this illusion of fear, this place where pain is what I hear.

Wake with moistened tears upon sleepy brow. As if final release be too much for me. Every moment in detail I remember, curse this detailed mind of mine. Those frozen fractions in time where even angels abandoned me to my fate. As if It were too late, to save this heart that aches. Those fractured moments when with aching scream one awakes to reality that for once is much better then these haunting fragmented dreams. Little memories that rip at the seams of a fragile mind, a beaten soul, and whisper what even demons dread to hear.
