I know you, 
We were best friends in highschool. 
I know you know, 
I was a loner, left out, uncool. 
I know you know that I know, 
You acted silly but you was no fool. 
I know you know that I know you know, 
My confidence was miniscule.

But who knew? 
As I struggled and crumbled, 
When I was lost and suicidal, 
When other people were brutal, 
When your friendship was crucial,
You pretended not to have a clue. 

I thought that I knew you, 
Turned out you could be cruel too.
