I wish I could be happier than you, 
I wish I didn't always feel so blue, 
I wish the stories I told were true, 
I wish I could fix my heart with glue, 
I wish I didn't need you to help me through. 

But I do. 

You helped me through my issues, 
You helped me to continue, 
You helped me see my value, 
You helped me have a breakthrough, 
My gratitude is overdue, 
I wish I knew how to say thank you
