Chapter 1

There was no safe place on earth that could protect you from Donnie Stanton. He was as crazy as any human could be, probably a lot crazier. I, however, got lucky because Donnie happened to be my best friend. See Donnie didn't have many friends, to begin with, I guess that pretty much goes hand in hand with crazy. Donnie had two sisters and lived with his aunt Connie Thurman. She was a beautiful lady, she was in church every Sunday, which meant so was Donnie. Donnie always told me that he didn't believe in god, he said: "if God was real, he would have never taken my parents Mikey." He told me that constantly. Now Donnie was always very protective of his sisters and in the summer of 2017, came his first bout with trouble. Donnie's younger sister Sarah, well let's see at the time Sarah was 10 years old, which would of put Donnie and I at sixteen. Mark on of the neighborhood bullies tried to touch Donnie's sister in her private area without her consent, so Donnie caught him in the playground one day after school and beat the living shit out of him. They said Mark was in the hospital for a couple days and I know for a fact his jaw was broke in three places. He ended up on probation for that one and some community service.
