I used to think that the world didn't spin. That time was frozen. When I opened my eyes reality halted. My dreams became shadows, following me while I pass by time. The darkness hides in corners, snuffing out the light my hope shines. Shattered eyes and blank gave a track my every breath. Compassion is thin, sympathy slides off. Leaving nothing but confusion the wanting off answers that haunts every word that slithers out of my mouth. As I say once more the thoughts on my mind. The darkness floods over me like a roaring lion. My heart falters, my thoughts fail. As I stand and face the clock of hell.
