A dream flashed my past 
Like a camera in the dark. 
I couldn't see anything but the scars 
That showed a hole in my heart. 

A reminder of pain 
Was like an unwashed stain. 
It hurts seeing it again 
But it will forever remain. 

A night that was unforgettable 
Its irony came through. 
It came uncontrollable 
As forever seemed too soon. 

Love or last no one could tell 
I thought I knew the answer 
But I was deceived by his amazing smell. 
I still feel the pleasures of that night 
Every time I close my eyes. 
It feels like a car bright light 
I see it clearly as if happened last night. 

No one can pull me out of that cage 
For I am a prisoner of that place. 
I was too blind to see
That the man I thought I loved
Didn't really love me.
