Tonight I miss my best friend,
My boyfriend, my soul mate. 
I miss his smile
And the soft comforting words
I miss running to him with every worry,
Every thought, every idea, 
And every exciting thing that happened.
Tonight I miss my secret keeper, 
My lover, my happiness, 
And my puzzle piece.

I miss 
The way he would know what to say. 
The way we kept each other out of trouble. 
I miss the way he was always there,
Like no one ever has.
I miss the way he would make me his number one. 
The way he reminded me to never give up. 
Tonight I miss the little things,
The small gestures, and loving arms. 

I miss knowing that there was someone 
Who wanted me,
For me. 
 That was there when I needed them most.

 Tonight, I am left with only a memory,
Thoughts, feelings, 
And mostly a big spot for him in my heart. 
Tonight, he has no pain,
No worries, and he is happy.
