Upon the howls of night

I look down from my wings

A bird of flight of blind sight

I use sound to guide me, so I may find may my prey.

I feed off fruit and insects too

though many people mistake me for my cousin, who attacks people the same way

I'm not mean in any way

I found a boy who screamed at my sight, it was an accidental fright.

Before I could explain, people chased me out a window and far far away.

  • Don't think of everything literally. In the point of view of the bat, they can see themselves like birds. It is all perspective,😊. Nice little poem.
