The 'Moon' and the 'Sun' - my two favorite metaphor which represents you and I.

Different like night and day, yet in all the ways that matter, we are the same.

The way your mind, spirit, strengths, flaws, and energy perfectly compliment my own in ways which is hard to comprehend or describe in words is uncanny. 

We can speak to each other without words and be on the same page.

We are in sync, in tune with each other even when we are apart. 

"Soulmates", I think is what this hard to explain connection is called.

This special bond between us is my steady ground.
It is my shelter in a storm.
It is a point on a map when I am wayward and lost.
It is a promise of a place called home.
It is a place where I belong.

Tonight is quite a cloudy night.... no sign of the Moon. 
Yet, I know you're out there, somewhere.... watching me. I can feel you.

"Hey Mr. Moon.... you out there...? I'm talking to you."
