                  Jasmine Sanders POV


I trembled in fear as tears trickled down my cheeks. She was bleeding. She was suffering undescrible pain. And all I could do was watch in horror.       
    
     "Why?" My voice was as shaky an earthquake "Did he hurt you?

 I wrapped my small arms bloody body. Although I was young, I knew it would be the last time I'd ever hug her.

   The woman pried open my hands and placed the pendant in my left hand. I then closed my hand and eyes. Sobbing uncontrollably I felt her soul leave her body. She was gone. Forever.

At that moment cops arrived. They then tugged the nine-year-old me off of her life less body. Before I knew it the place was overcrowded with detectives and neighbours.

  So many people. So many questions they asked. But no one cared about me. I decided then no one would. Ever.
