Her day was long, the sun melted into the horizon giving the moon a chance to shine.

She stood in her doorway, effortlessly peeling off the clothes she wore that day, she felt their grip on her soft skin fade.

She reached down and turned off the water to the tub, mirrors already steaming from the breath of the hot bathwater.

She dipped her toe in, the burn against her cold flesh made her feel more alive... now fully submerged in the near boiling temperature, her aches were set free.

Washing away the darkness of the day, her water turned black as night, a beautiful contrast from her pale skin. Her demons were free swimming in the cauldren she made for herself, letting out a long sigh of relief, revealing the stains on her teeth from the red wine in her glass, she smiled to herself and sank deeper into the bath...it was finally Friday.
