The lasting pain dealt by loss Never truly stops Or fades We think about how Things could be different If we could reverse The wheels of our fates But in our hearts We know This is a feat even we Can not achieve In the following moments of silence Their voice is heard But even this Can't bring relief It brings back memories The pain deepens A desperate wish to end this grief.
