- [ ] So many things,
other people teach you.
So many things,
some people preach you.
But, listen to only those,
who will stand by you,
In moments of peril,
When you fail to comply,
When your pace isn’t high,
They will defend you.
When you can no longer stand,
When happiness
Falls, like grains of sand,
When it is no longer convenient,
They will come for you.
Don’t listen to 
fair-weather friends,
Who only arrive,
When bad time ends.
Don’t be charmed by
Spring’s fling,
As it will always,
Without fail, bring 
The pricks of summer.
And then, my dear,
You will be left
Waiting for the preachers,
Those words of lure.
Listen to those,
Who bore storms with you,
Who wore thorns with you,
Adorned armour with you,
Were scarred with you,
And still,
Would go to war with you.
