Prologue:

It was a cold night, that it seemed the snow had frozen in the air.  Many people drove by but never saw the car that went off the road into the trees. For the night seemed to have wanted it to be seen. It was as if it wanted it to keep it a secret from the rest of the world.

Inside that car was a man and his wife who were going to pick up their daughter from the wife's parents house. Until a wolf ran in front of them, causing them to turn and fly off the sleet road. But after the snow and darkness came much sooner. The man and the wife remained hidden....

Chapter One:

A girl stared out of her grandparent's dining room window. She watched the road that lead to her grandparent's house, sighing as time passed by and no car came down the long wide road through the canopy of the woods. Snow covered the ground below in white fluff, the girl hoped that her parents will make it for dinner and that the next day they can go home, back to the city.

She sighed once more before looking out the window, she froze for something outside had caught her eye.

A wolf...

It stood in the front yard that was littered with snow. It was white and had such beautiful brown eyes. The girl gasped an stared at the beautiful wolf in shock. The wolf looked up at her, the girl soon moved away from the window and went to fetch one of her grandparents.

When the girl had returned to the window with her grandmother in tow. she looked at outside as a smile on her face turned to a frown. The wolf was gone... but she would never forget it... never...

But that was 11 years ago....

    Present Day.......

A fourteen year old girl rushing her way to school on her bike. speeding down the streets, ringing her bicycle bell, and the honey crisp apple she grabbed was in her mouth knowing she would finish it at lunch.

Luna Amber Scarlet, was her name. But most people call her LuLu or Luna for short. Which she never minded, but what she did mind was getting to school before the bell rang.

When she had reached the school, her friend, Timothy was waiting by the tree they would always meet up at before school.

"Let me guess you woke up late?," he asked her as she was parking her bike.

"You bet," she said taking the apple out of her mouth and putting it into her lunch bag.

"Lets get to class before the bell rings," Timothy said as they began speed walking to class.

When they arrived they sat down in their desks and got ready for the day to begin.

"Darn it," Luna grumbled.

"Let me guess, your Aunt Marie put mayo on your sandwich again?," he asked her certainly.

"Yep, how'd you know?"

"Because we have been best friends for like seven years, Luna," he tells.

Luna giggles,"I know, I'm just kidding, Timmy."

"Don't call me that," he says to her narrowing his eyes, pretending to be mad at her before he looked back at his book.

"Okay, fine," she said before the teacher walked in and began the lesson.

Luna looked outside the window not wanting to participate in such boring lesson. She sighed, for today was just the same....

Chapter Two:

Luna was walking her bike with her friend Timothy by her side. She was excited for it was Friday and tomorrow was her birthday. Timothy was reading a book while he talked to her. He only lived about seven blocks away from the school so Luna basically walked on her own the rest of the way to her grandparents house which was now owned by her rich aunt and uncle since her grandparents had retired to a sunny island resort somewhere in the Pacific Ocean.

She missed her grandparents, wishing they could be here all the time instead of visiting her on Christmas or her cousin's birthdays. Luna's aunt was a strict woman, while her uncle was more on the kinder side, sometimes Luna would question on how in the whole universe would a  woman like her aunt and a man like her uncle could possibly ever get married.

But then again she was still loved and cared for at the home she lived in. So much couldn't be sad badly about them. Plus her birthday was tomorrow! She should be happy!

But... How come she wasn't?....

'oh well,' Luna thought to herself as she continued walking to her house with her bike beside her. The fresh autumn air was cool as it nipped at her nosed and her fingers that were paled white from her tight grip on her bike's handle bars. She looked at the road and stopped at a tree, a car that was rusted and busted from a car crash so long ago. Luna didn't know why she cried when she saw it, but somehow it always got to her.

Her parents disappeared and she never saw them again.

suddenly Luna heard a snap of a twig. She looked up where the sound came from, and there it stood... the white wolf from an undying memory.

Luna backed away, only to cause herself to trip on her bike. She then fell down, knocking her to the ground,  and caused her head to hit a root of a tree.

Then everything went black as the sound of a wolf howling ringed her ears....
