Next period was double blocked since lunch was part of it. Melanie and Analisa had sat at a table with their friends.
Michelle was still trying to open her milk. Apparently biting her nails never benefits anything for her. Melanie had sat next to Blaze. They were the only four left now. And whenever the subject concerning Amanda and Lamees ever conversed, they turned mute. But Analisa had to talk about it. There was no point to suffer that type of silence of not ever discussing such painful losses. This is what she could not hold in and bare.
"Hey, Ana, is anything wrong? You haven't been talking in the past few minutes." Blaze asked. Melanie looked at her again. She sighed. "Are you still thinking about that?" "Thinking about what?" Michelle asked tossing her milk carton aside. Melanie and Analisa looked at each other. It wasn't the exact subject for her to start off with. They were doing just fine without their names being brought up, so Ana tried to banish the thought.
"Well?" Blaze looked at Melanie and Analisa. Michelle just looked. She never seemed to catch on to anything. "It's nothing." Analisa went on picking at her mash potatoes. "You never tell me anything! Blaze, what's going on?" She just shrugged her shoulders. "Come on. We promised to tell each other everything." Blaze looked at Analisa with a serious face. She couldn't help it anymore.
"I think Nicole, Clarissa, and Avery had something to do with...their murders. You know... Amanda and-" "And just what could their reason had to be? We didn't exactly fool around with them. Analisa, I told you Nicole wasn't ever involved in our friendship. If she said anything to trigger that feeling you have -" "We may have been invited to Nicole's Halloween party in 2011. A week before Amanda... disappeared." Blaze felt a bit guilty. Melanie looked at her confused. "Well, me, Michelle, and Ana." "And you didn't say anything? We weren't supposed to be around them at all!" Now Melanie had to ask certain questions she couldn't believe. "God I can't believe what I'm going to ask. Did Amanda and Lamees go with you?" Michelle looked down hiding her face as hearing their name had to swell in some tears. Blaze and Analisa nodded. "I did find something odd between Clarissa and Amanda, but for some reason I had paid no mind to it." Blaze patted Michelle on her shoulder. Analisa looked at Melanie. "I just need to ask more questions. First of all, how did any of you get an invite?" Blaze and Michelle had looked at Analisa. She had never thought of it, but some boy had given her invitations.
"It was this boy. He had gave me some invitations. He had only given me three. I haven't seen him since then, so I guess I haven't paid close attention to him." "But you only had three. How did Amanda and Lamees get invited to that Halloween party?" Melanie asked. "It's exactly why we were curious. And Analisa so happened to have invites. But I guess I had forgotten why we were there since I had kind of became a party animal." Michelle looked down at her lap again. "What about you, Analisa? Have you sensed anything else besides something between Amanda and Clarissa?" Analisa only had her eyes on Nicole. It seemed as if the one time she disappeared she had to go and follow her. "Well, the whole reason we were there was because we were curious on how Amanda and Lamees had any business being there. I had seen Lamees talking with Nicole for one split second and when everyone was getting in the way I couldn't see them anymore. I tried to see where they ran off to, but I lost them." Melanie leaned back. "So after Amanda and Lamees went missing you were starting to get suspicious. And when Amanda had turned up... the next week...I suppose you knew something had been wrong. And by the next year when Lamees had been found, you had already suspected Nicole. This is rather...well how should I even put this?" Michelle and Blaze looked at Analisa. "Since Nicole was the last person you had seen Lamees with then maybe she should have been questioned?"
The bell had started to rang for lunch to be over. They all knew that there were some mishaps in all of it. Now they're only left with questions.
