Under His Ship Read Count : 109

I trusted you
I thought you were my captain
And I thought I would be your loving mermaid
It was a joke, nothing but lies
While you sink down below in my own crown of sand
Jellyfishes will soon sting you
Dolphins will drown you
Not like I want revenge but it's what the sea wanted
You can take off your captain hat
Leave it for the next captain to love who I am
To see what others couldn't
To put that smile on my face while I do the same for him
We can rule the ocean in our dreams
People will laugh
People will be jealous
In the end, your ship sunk
Under your ship became my worse nightmare
My own personal darkness nobody knew until now
I will follow my heart
Mermaids never give up
We keep singing and staying happy because we know our captain will carry us on the beach and protect us dearly
Oh darlin', this isn't a dream this is my life
I reach out my hands with open arms
Take me away, take me to a place that will keep me right here with you
