Hope. It's the only thing missing in this world. No more hope, that's why people wish on shooting stars. Because they have hope.

Prologue:
Snowing. It was snowing. Not the frozen, drops of water that fell from the sky. It was a different snow. Light, pink petals had began to fall from the sky as a light wind blew the trees. We would walk this path everyday, from town to our home. Just me and Bailey, all the time.
Bailey was always there for me. True that he was a dog, but it was so much better than nothing. Better than spending the rest of my days alone, alone in this bustling city. Of course, nobody liked me. Correction, everyone hated me, and I never knew why.
Why I was left alone. No parents, no siblings, no home. Just me and Bailey to keep me company. But I shouldn't give up hope. I shouldn't give up. Just keep on enduring the pain, the murderous glares from the everyone in the city. The attacks on me and Bailey, and the risk of dying everyday. Just keep a happy little smile, and everything will be alright. Yeah right.
Of course, I had to get attacked today, and of course there was more than one person. Gosh, it was such a pain to deal with gangs. Such a workout to. Anyway, I'm getting off track because this isn't a story about me, well, kinda. This is a story about my messed up life and someone who came around and made it even more messed up. A story about stuff you didn't even know was real. Vampires, werewolves, clowns. Okay, cut the clowns but I do have a funny story about one. Okay, maybe later, but anyway, where was I? Oh yeah. I was attacked. Wow, what a great way to start a story.
