Serenity woke up at 6:00 at night wondering why her alarm didn't go off at 5:30. As she got up and went to her closet she heard weird noises in the basement. She didn't want to check tell she got ready. As she slowly opened her door trying not to wake up her dad she saw a weird blue light coming from the basement. She went down stairs  as the stairs creaked while she put all her weight on them. She held the rail as she got down into the basement.
 She saw a weird portal down in the basement. She heard her dad coming down the stairs as she hurried and hid somewhere acting like she was at school still. He turned the portal off and went back upstairs with the button to turn in on and off. "I need to get that remote" Serenity whispered "But how?" As Serenity got up from her knees she ran back upstairs and crawled into her dad's room. She slipped the remote out of his hand before he could feel anything. She rab downstairs and turned the portal on. She thought it was some type of secret that her dad didn't want to tell her even though it was right in front of the stairs in the basement. She turned it on and all the strength it had dragged her into the portal. She gripped onto something that would get sucked in tell her fingertips were the only things on it. As all the sweat slipped down to her fingers her hands slip off and she gets dragged into the portal. "Where am i?" Serenity says.
