I want to be the one you kiss,
the one you'll always miss,
the one you hold tight,
and the one you dream of at night.

I want to be the one who's there for you,
for good and bad, happy and sad,
the one you scream at when we fight,
and the one you protect with all your might.

I want to be the one you reach for,
when your heart feels lonely or it's feeling sore,
I want to be the one you desire,
the one who moves you and sets your Soul on fire.

I don't care what situation we are in,
whether good, bad, or in-between,
all I know is what I want,
and what I want is to be The One.

You asked me to be me - you got it.
You asked me to let my guard down - I blew up my walls.
You asked me to show you my Soul - I came barenaked.
