Chapter 13

The water felt even colder on Sarah's skin as they went deeper into the dark blue water. Sarah and Stacy had two mako shark-men on each side of them acting as transporters. Gash lead the way, like a soldier going into battle. It was beautiful, there were all kinds of fish swimming about. They finally arrived at the palace; it looked like three huge domes combined and there was what looked like two sunken ships connected to the sides of the domes. They entered the kingdom through a transport tube in the middle dome. There were two huge guards at the entrance, they resembled whale sharks. The tube led them to a hallway with ceilings that were at least twenty feet high. It had a strip of gold carpet going through the center of the room, it led to two huge golden doors at the end of the hall. Two of those massive whale shark-men overlooked these doors also. The doors opened up and at the end of the gold carpet was a throne made of diamonds, on it sat a fierce looking great white shark-man, his eyes were just as black as Gash's. He had a huge grin on his face showing rows of those razor-sharp teeth. "The humans, my lord. As you requested." Gash said as they approached the throne. "Welcome, you are guests in this kingdom and shall be treated as such... Uncuff them at once." The king motioned for the Mako's to release them and they did as he asked. "Humans... My grandfather used to tell me tales about humans when I was just a pup. He told me how your kind used to hunt us and cut off our fins." He turns his gaze on Sarah and says "I don't want to start off on bad terms with humans, We are only a threat to sea life and we only eat what we need." He stands up and grabs his scepter, his scepter is pure gold with a huge diamond at the tip. He continues. "You want to go home and I need a favor, once said favor is done we will return you home." Sarah looks at the great white king and asks. "What favor could you want from us?" The king smiles, his sharp teeth seem to swallow his face.
