For a moment everything went silent Like a train coming to crash into me I felt the warning of the pain I stood frozen half conscious of what was happening Half in denial You could not be gone You were just not the kind to die Yet everyone was crying,sorrow hang in the air. The sun covered by a dark cloud Like a land devoid of fresh air Time frozen still My heartbreaking into a million pieces I realised there was nothing more to do Not prayers,not hope All i had to do was close my eyes Let the tears flow As the pain shook me to the core.
