When tears were rolling down my face
for painful memories I can't erase,
you wiped my tears away.
When my heart felt like it was torn in two,
and no matter what I do I still feel blue,
you worked your way to heal me.
When I felt too weak to carry on,
didn't think I can make it on my own,
you pushed me to be strong.
When I was feeling so angry and bitter,
had trouble keeping it together,
you calmed me down.
When I was at a point of giving up,
and coming close to admitting defeat,
you took my hand in yours and pulled me up.
When I thought I had lost it all....
my love, my heart, my mind, my soul,
you proved me wrong.
When I sit down and put it all on paper,
all the pieces fit well together;
now it's clear, the puzzle's solved,
you're the one I was meant to love.
