Sometimes people ask me if I have a crush, and my response is always "no" but the truth is, I do. His name is Jake and I see him at school every day. He usually wears a navy blue shirt, and black pants. His shoes are high tops and they are pretty dirty! But we have 2 of the same classes. Biology and English, of course my least 2 favorite classes and my worst grades too. We don't talk much but sometimes we end up making eye contact I class. His shiny brown eyes into my blue ones. It just feels so right but I guess he will never like me, I mean why would he like a dork like me. The only time we ever talk is when Meghan ruins my day. Well when I am struggling to stand on my own. There is a girl named Meghan and she loves being popular. She likes ruining my life and does every day. There was this one day when I was sitting outside when it was raining and the school doors weren't open yet. I did have an umbrella and a hood and I used both. But all of a sudden my white and purple umbrella, was not in my hand. Instead it was above me and behind me. I jerked my head back and there was Meghan. She was sitting there smiling and laughing " Oh missing something!" She laughed, Jake was coming over there to help me and then all of a sudden Meghan pulled my hood and sat there staring at Jake. I knew Meghan liked Jake but she thought I had no chance with him (which I don't but...) She flirted with him when I was around and had to ruin my day. But Jake walked right passed her and went to help me. He asked me if I was alright and that he saw everything but I told him I was fine. Even though I wasn't. He smiled and held his hand out so he could help me up. It made me blush but idk if he noticed. I love Jake he is so sweet. "You know we could be partners in the biology project we are doing today" he said to me. "Um... Ya sure! I mean nobody else would pick me" "Wh-" The bell rang and we were running inside. And then I realized "MY UMBRELLA!" I screamed and ran back outside but ya it was gone. No sign of it, I looked all around and that was a new umbrella too 😣 When we finally got to bio class Jake said he wanted to ask me something. "Hey Ava.... There is something I need to ask you but.... Not right now how about at the lockers?" "Umm... Ok" but Meghan of course was watching everything! Ugh!! That girl kills me! Just because she doesn't have a chance with Jake either doesnt mean she has to practically hurl me! No literally it hurts just thinking about her. My God what is wrong with her but anyway. When we got to the lockers he said "Listen I saw you out there and I almost felt ur pain and I feel bad for you." I smiled and replied with a simple "Thank you." Then he gave me a note but said I could only read it after school! I was urging just to look at it but I didnt.
