You can't always hold on
You have to let go
But cry if you need to

When a good thing goes bad
The bottle isn't the answer
The pills aren't the answer
The getting high till you reach the clouds isn't the answer

You step back
You take a breath
You take a moment to understand whats happening
Even if you don't understand it, you try
Then you move on

When a good thing goes bad
You move on because the good thing that went bad...
Isn't the ONLY good thing

Your boyfriend or girlfriend broke up with you
There's  7.6 billion people in the world
You just lose your loved one
Its okay to grief
But you can't bring them back
But that doesn't mean they can't live THROUGH you
You lost your job 
Make a living doing what you love

When a good thing goes bad
Find the good in the bad
It may take a while
But remember
Nothing is impossible
