Chapter 5 The Future Queen

As Illia runs outside to collect herself to what she has just witnessed, Xyphas soon follows her in hopes of calming her down.

(Illia is crying behind a ruined building)

Xyphas* Hmm there you are... Why did you run off like that?

(Illia wipes her tears off)

Illia* I thought I was strong enough, But seeing father like that hurts me.

Xyphas* It won't be soon before you take over for him.

(Illia feels the strong winds and the gust blows her hood off. Revealing her face)

Illia* I don't want to take over. I asked you to train me to be strong so I can cut the ties that bind me to this responsibility.

(Xyphas hangs himself on the wall)

(Illia sat down and listened)

And brought life to the Overseer of the Dead, Zelias the Sepulcher. Zelias brought the dead back to life and caused havoc throughout Styx.

(The winds stopped, and silence fills the area. The Praetorian soldiers are all resting)

Xyphas* The planet was in chaos... Humans, Wardens, Undine and even the Gurkha joined forces to combat the evil dead. Then your father joined in. (A group of Praetors are looking for Illia and Xyphas, They appear to be saddened)

(Demi is smashing the glass and is constantly blasting the small space with darkened force)

Illia* What is happening to dad?

Xyphas* The Xurgan is taking over...

Renue* Yes... And we will have to execute him now!

(Illia became angry when she heard this)

Illia* Don't lay a hand to my father or death shall befall you all!

(Demi yells at Illia)

(Illia tries to stop them)

Demi* Hold her down!

(A massive purple light sparks on top of the glass chamber)

(Illia tried her best to stop everyone as the light of the orb of annihilation descends on Demi)

Illia* Father!!!

(The power of the beam was too much for the chamber to bear and destroyed the glass and splintered throughout the room, one shard containing a Xurgan flesh grazed Illia on her right arm)

(When the beam finally stopped everyone who was hit with Hexcrystal glass is either dead or injured)

Xyphas* It is done.

Renue* I'm sorry your Highness... But it had to be done.

(As Illia slowly turns around you can see the anguish and anger in her eyes)

Illia* This has to end. I have to prevent King Aramat from destroying my home for his selfish reasons.

(Renue ordered his men to stand)

Renue* We give our life for you princess!
