I do not write to impress,
my art is a thing of sanity.
I'm simply making sense
of this tangled web we live in.
I navigate through turbulent seas within thoughts,
that drown the most experienced sailors and crew,
through tsunamis of self doubt,
that threaten all lands.
I tend to internalize all the words I cannot verbalize,
and sometimes the best way to release thoughts,
is not to pour them out through speech,
but to bottle the energy and use it as fuel.
I am writing to the present and future me,
praying they will forgive my past regrets.
I am writing to never forget
how I became who I became.
