Graduate college 
I’m supposed to be the first generation 
But thanks to my mistakes
I’ve made that difficult for myself 

Start my career
Show the little ones that
Dreams do come true 
Show the little ones 
They can end the cycle

Get married 
After all the heartbreaks
I deserve someone that shows me he deserves me
Someone that isn’t always my hero but mostly my partner in crime 

Have little mini mes and hims 
Teach my child or children to be better than me 
Teach my child or children to never judge someone solely on how they look but how they treat you and other people 
Teach my child or children to always have their loved ones back even if they’re mad at each other

Grow old with my husband 
The same way my grandparents did
They had their bad times like any other couple
But they honored their vows and 
They never stopped loving each other 

But before growing old
I want to continue getting my voice out there
I want my truth to be heard 
I want my words to be read

Some people don’t think I have goals or if I do then I won’t teach them
It may take time but
I will prove them wrong 
That’s the ultimate goal 
Prove everyone that said I wouldn’t or couldn’t 
That I will and I did
