Do you remember when we were just sad passengers on a bus headed towards happiness?

And, do you remember all the sad faces we met, and that the sun was the only one who smiled back at us?

Tell me, do you remember how we used to talk with the wind?

Do you remember it's loving and polite answers?

And, do you remember the day it perched on your nose and you could then feel peace within?

Though the old-Beverley's bus did not stop, that was the day the wind set you free from me.

I know I shouldn't have given you the window-seat,
from which you leaped and into the cold hands of death you fell like sleep.

Your flight was tall.
The driver's heart was twice as hard as your fall.
The sound of your skull crashing against the hard asphalt could not bring the wheels to a halt at all.

He just kept on going,
And for minutes the breeze ceased its blowing;

But, it soon return wearing a much thicker skin.
This time, it perched on my nose.
But up from my seat I quickly arose,
For Idid not want to be another victim of this murderous wind.
