Whatever he's feeling, it's illegal, But love is stronger than Blood, And this girl whom he had, at first, deemed is equal Now reigns over him like a god And rains down on him like a cloud, And is slowly washing all his boundaries away like a flood. They're cousins, So loving her is a vice. And even though his feelings weren't chosen, Leaving her is not a choice. So, he's challenged to forget her the moment the plane exits Grand Cayman, But he doesn't, for he can't. Thoughts of her pace down the corridor inside his mind, He misses all the poetic scenes that they had starred in. Wishing he could have closed every door that led her to his life, He falls to his knees And begins to bargain. He wants to move on, But he can't get pass her. It's hard to live on When he's stuck within every moment he has ever spent with her. This love is immoral but strong, Genuine but wrong, And dismantling it will take very long.
