Tears of blood fall from my broken heart
I never thought we would fall apart. 
Why did you go, why did you break my heart.
"Why".

When I held you I said "forever"
Now that you're gone I know you meant "never".

Saying you loved me with that look in your eyes​,
And all of it was a cold hearted lie, "Why".

You had a tender touch, and a soft kiss
Those two things about you I will miss.

I should've cried a long time ago,  I loved ​you,
 I always told you so. I thought you'd​ be here too
 say I love you back. It was all lies, "Why".

I know they say love is blind,
but there was only you in my eyes.
 Now I'm​ afraid to close my eyes, 
I know I'll see in my dreams every
night, and wonder "why".

It hurt so deep it feels like a knife cut.
Sharp pains plague my gut. Wounds will 
heal and I'll go on with my life, 
But you won't be in it, "why".
