(Man) began existence upon a wooded wide path and became overwhelmed . His thoughts flashed a multitude of images in his head. He learned (Words).

 Words began to describe man's surroundings. A long paved (Path) layed out before him. The path is lined with all sorts of bushes, trees, and thorn riddled vines wrapping around the lot. As all this new information loaded into man's brain, he began to (Think)

(I know I am. Therefore, I exist.)

 And with existence, Man became (Bliss). The moment was ecstacy in perfection, though short lived. Man paniced at the sudden numbness that set in. 

(I want to feel.)

 A voice boomed across the sky. The very sound of it left Man stunned in wonder. Man's very instinct showed him (Fear), as he trembled at the thunderous sky. 

"Follow the path". 

 Man felt the voice as much as heard it. This was Man's true master, the (God) that promises bliss.
All he had to do was follow the path. 

 Man walked and walked, then walked some more. Man grew fatigued and often thought about the end. There, beyond that horizon, layed sweet bliss, and Man pressed foward. Man's legs melted under him, as he crumbled to the ground. Man was losing (Faith) in ever obtaining bliss. The voice rang out in all directions. 

"Eat."

 In front of Man, an array of meats appeared. The aroma swirled around him. Man became entranced and savagely ripped into the (Flesh) before him. Man was now aware of this insatiable beast, (Hunger). But with hunger appeased, for now, Man had the touch of bliss again. Not as intense as the first, true bliss dance just out of reach of Man's nerves. He regained strength and moved forward.

 Man's mind wandered. Ideas form pictures painted in (Imagination). So many questions. A knew kind of hunger had overcame Man, (curiosity). Gazing to his side, Man imagined life within the wilderness. Small playful things that gracefully fling themselves from tree to tree. This made Man (Smile).

 As he continued on, he kept a watch on the woods. He spotted a red like orb hanging from the branch. The color and the shape had seemed tantalizing to Man. The word came to him, (Apple). He walked over and reached for it. A sudden crash filled the sky and the voice boomed.

"NO!"

 And another word formed in Man's mind, (forbidden ). Man slumped away and continued down the path.

 Man grew lonesome with his thoughts. He began to imagine another like him. One that would keep him company on this long journey for bliss. A (friend) perhaps, he could share bliss with. 

 Something began constructing in front of him. He saw bone filling up with organs, muscle began wrapping around, and finally soft skin to cover the whole mess. Man noticed this was similar to him, yet had its differences. There were shapes on its upper torso he did not have, more curves outlined the frame, and a missing unit down below. The name of this type of creature came to him, (Woman). Man was very pleased.

 Man and Woman walked side by side down the path. At times, Man could not stop staring at Woman. It filled him with a gentle bliss. Not as intense as the first, yet lingered much longer than any he had felt before. She often turned and looked at him quizzically. He could only smile back. The word for this bliss came to him, (love). 

 The both walked on and on. Woman became curious as Man had, scanning the woods to each side. Woman paused for a moment and then walked over to one side. Man noticed to late, as Woman plucked an apple from a branch. Man rushed to her as she raised it to her mouth. Man shook his head and tried to speak. His lips moved to the shapes of the word but he could not sound it out. He tried desperately to tell Woman that the apple was forbidden. She cocked her head slightly and then bit into the apple. Woman's eyes grew wide, as if she understood the entire world in that bite. She offered it to Man and at first, he refused. She kept on insisting till Man relented. Man took the apple and bit into it. 

 Suddenly, Man understood everything. The very air he breathed came from the plants around him. They too were alive. His body had a flow of blood that ran all the necessary components through out him. He understood love and the experiences he could share with Woman. Man became filled with (knowledge).

 However, Man was stuck on one concept. A word he could not grasp. A thing that is not life. He searched extensively through his mind and still could not find the word. Then boomed the voice overhead. 

"You have disobeyed. You are no longer welcomed here. I shun you Adam. I shun you Eve."

 The voice silenced and never came back. With it, the path vanished. Man and Woman was lost in the wilderness. Surrounding them were creatures laying still on the ground. The very flesh of them melted, decayed, rotted away. Man learned the most horrorfying word there ever will be. The thing that is not life.

(DEATH)

 Man and Woman screamed out together and humanity has been screaming ever since.
